I've been a member of a few work-at-home mom communities for several months now and if there is one the I know about those ladies it is that they will pay good money to advertise their referral links.
There are few forums that will allow referral or affiliate links. If you would join a work-at-home forum and advertise that you were selling banner impressions on your forum, I'd say you'd get quite a few takers. You can sell packages based on your page hits. You only need one spot for 468*60 banner. Everyone that you sell to would just rotate with each page hit until their impression count runs out.
Its a different idea. An alternative to everyone else's Google or Yahoo ads. Some people may want to use a banner for their personal site or blog where they list all of their affiliate links. For the most part, I'd say you could sell multiple ads to one person for several different affiliate sites.
If you ever decide to implement this idea please let me know. I'd definitely consider being your first customer. |
