Yep, I'm in agreement as well.
One of my paid regular jobs usually takes me an hour to draft and an hour to tidy up and off it goes. 1,200 words, no problem.
Last week I was doing a spec feature and it took me over 3 days. 600 words it finished up at and I was in pain from start to finish.
And, I just couldn't leave it alone. I was pick, pick, pick, the damn thing was like a spot.
It was the worst thing I've ever done in the production sense, but it felt great to get it out and on paper and really mean something.
If it doesn't get published I'll be gutted |

Hi,
I found this forum through AW. While I've been on various forums, I never really thought that there was a job (sure, sure!) for posting comments and making the threads seem active. Now that I know such a thing exists and I could be paid a small amount for doing that, I'm piqued! I'd love to contribute to this because I like browsing through different forums and making 5 posts a day isn't asking for much.
I hope it works out for you as well. _________________ I stared down at the abyss and the abyss stared back at me. Neither of us liked what we saw.

I found this service through Sitepoint. Although I've been active on a number of forums because of my own interests or because friends have asked, I've never posted for pay. I have plenty of time to dedicate to boosting forums, and I genuinely think it's something that I would enjoy and be good at.
In short: I'm excited! |

I've been looking for an agent for my sci-fi novel - just about ready to send out queries. It's nerve-wracking but exciting! It's also quite a minefield out there, so it pays any would-be author to really research the publishing industry so you know exactly what agents, editors and publishers are offering, and can make comparisons, before you sign on any dotted lines.
So I ended up at Absolute Write (a terrific resource for writers, by the way) and found a link to forumbooster on there. |

| Hello everyone. I'm also here via Absolute Write, but indirectly. I don't actually post at that site, mind you, but my husband is a mod there and he suggested I come check this out. This is his latest attempt to help me work up the courage to actually write for money, instead of wasting all my time at silly, minimum-wageish jobs. Although I don't expect to make enough this way to enable me to quit my day job (which is in retail- yuck), I see it as a nice way to get my feet wet and prepare me for the discipline I'll need to get into freelancing. |

Hi everybody
I too found this site through AW. I spend time at the Greeting Card forum there. I began writing and selling humourous material back around '87, and found that the flexibility of freelance writing on spec fit well with my travel schedule. I also enjoyed making the extra money.
I was wondering if anyone here is currently submitting to greeting card companies, and if anyone has some insight into the recent trend of companies closing or being bought out by other companies?

Hi,
I found this place through an ad on another paid-to-post connection forum. I have really gotten into paid posting through several others forums, but this seems to be one of the best programs. This has been a perfect way for me to earn a few extra dollars for some online investments, and I really enjoy talking to other people about topics that I understand. |

Am new to Forum Booster, and submitted an email (was directed from Absolute Write). I don't want to bog admin down by submitting the form also, but noted it has additional information- I see from other posts that the site is seeing an overhaul in some areas, so perhaps the form is the new version of application. Just corssing my p's and q's here.

| You have arrived during the transition phase I am afraid. My advice would be to bog the admins down fill out the application form, it will probably be processed first. |

I was happy to have heard from Todd about my initial email application the same day (today). As Todd said in the email I would need to check the jobs section for how to apply, you should all know that we still apparently need to fill out the form instead of just the email information that was requested at the post on Absolute Write. I've just done so now.

Creative writing, huh? Interesting. What type of research topics you do like? I'm also a creative writing student, its quite fun, don't you agree. I like research topics on religion. I think the whole history of religions is fascinating, and researching them just made me realize that there is a lot of mystery behind them. _________________ ForumBooster is da Best! |

Hello everyone,
My name is Fahad, and I live in Seattle, WA. I've been a frequent message board poster in diffrent fields. I have posted in religious forums, CGI, and sports. Religion and CGI really interests me so I go and post often. In sports I like Cricket, that is one of my favorite sports. Sometimes I like to post in business forums. I am really interested in this opportunity as it sounds fun, and through doing this I will have the opportunity of meeting other people and also gaining knowledge in various fields of life.
Nice to meet everyone.
