Hi, this is Michelle from Long Beach, CA. Craigslist has always been a great source of interesting opportunites for me, but this is the most intriguing one I have seen in a very long time. I'm really looking forward to sharing my opinions and expertise in the forums--and the money is just the icing on the cake! This seems like a fun way to earn some extra income and I'm looking forward to learning more. Thanks for the opportunity! |

| I think I could probably be quite good at this, I have been frequenting message boards since the age of fourteen, and am a Creative Writing student. I am also interested in the challenge it might bring, what with me having to research specific topics and what-not. |

Just like you, Michelle, I found out about this site through craigslist. I had already planned to join some message boards on relationships and metaphysical stuff and this fit right in for me because I can get paid to do something that I was planning to do anyway.
Yes, raettopia, this can be a great way to build up your research skills as a writer. I know when I used to post on the message boards for spiritual sites, many of the posters were pretty knowledgable and everyone was very courteous about teaching "newbies". People also get to know what kinds of skills you have and will sometimes refer others to you for help. That always made me feel great.
Good luck!

I have been contributing to Digital Point and Hardwarezone (a Singaporean technical portal) for so long, it has never crossed my mind to earn some money from posting on forum boards. So far it has always looked like I was given the privilege to post!
Anyway, I am extremely delighted to be helping new forums get on their feet through my services to boost community discussions, essentially helping to get a budding community from scratch to a self-sustaining organism! _________________ My blog |

| I think this is a great idea. I spend a good part of my day in forums, so getting a little money for it is a definate plus. I think in a few years we are going to start seeing more and more of our lives move online. Forum frequenters are pioneers of the future! |

I'm just curious as to what constitutes "full time" vs "part time"... |

Scarily, I think you've hit the nail on the head there. I've even taken to 'lying' to my partner now because over the last six months every time he's asked me 'What are you doing?' I've been posting on forums! Yep! VERY sad!
Hello, by the way. I've just found my way here and am currently browsing and, let's face it, poking my nose in anywhere I can!
No doubt I'll see you round some more. I never EVER believed that there was such a thing as earning money from posting on forums. If only I'd known that ten years ago ..... |

I agree. Getting paid to do what I already do for free seems like a good thing. I love to write and I am full of opinions. Viola...here I am.
Good luck to you.

What an exciting and interesting concept! Sharing my thoughts, ideas, knowledge and alleged wisdom with others AND getting paid for it...I always thought I'd end up doing something like this, I just thought I'd another Oprah. Oh well, can't have it all now, can we? Or then again...can we??

If you are doing something you love, does full-time ever truly feel like full-time work?

Hi,
I am really interested in finding out more about this service. It sounds like fun - if anyone has already begun working or knows someone who has, do you usually get assigned topics that are pretty compatible with your list of interests/areas of expertise? I don't mind getting assigned something new - shake things up a little! Just wondering what your experience has been.

Liked your comment, thumperfive. I need to remind my hubby of that one - any day now he's going to walk through the door saying he quit his job! Work is torture if it isn't something you love.

Okay, sorry to post all of my messages in a row - but if you're a SAHM (stay-at-home-mom for the uninitiated!), you know that you have to focus and execute when you have the downtime! Which means that I can answer emails, surf the web, post on forums, write reviews, and all kinds of other stuff at lightning speed! It's sunny out and I need to vote and take the kiddies to the park!

Sorry - I meant to say that I liked t's comment about full-time work not feeling full-time. No offense, thumperfive. I'm looking forward to getting started posting - if accepted, of course! I have enough opinions about pretty much everything and my family says I know it all!
