When my internet goes down it is miserable. I guess I rely too much on the internet. I used to read a lot and now I hardly do any reading offline. I love the internet |

| it may not look that bad, remembering life without the internet when you've not seen what it looks like. but having been in it, life isn't just normal again without the internet. its like going back to the stone age. |

It is really amazing to think that home computers and the Internet have not been around for that long. I was able to get access quite early on through my computer at work, but there were not a lot of interesting sites to visit like there are now.
I just wonder what the "next big thing" will come up in the future that will make computers and the net obsolete. Believe or not, there will probably come a time when your kids will look at you and say how old fashioned the Internet is and how dumb you are for still using it. |

| Different things could be done through the internet. I think removing it could cause a major slow down in many aspects. A big amount of people depends on the internet which becomes part of the "need". Thinking about it, life gets easier with the internet |

Internet doesn't need any introduction it is know to single individual.
Introduction of the computer had made the IT industry and many other fields too in a vast graphs.fields like Hospitals, banking sectors, airline industries too in a increasing graphs periodically.
interenet makes the communication much easy. The people from two different countries can communicate with each other and express their ideas with each other. |

| can we really live without computers? i know i CANT. i just think about how long im really on my computer and how long i'd LIKE to be on my computer. i swear i do EVERYTHING on my computer: talk to people, surf, play games, reports, research and such. i just cant think about how much technology advanced in the 16 years i've been alive and how much its going to advance in the next couple years. what do you think were gonna start seeing? and what about this Internet-2 thats been the buzz around the internet the day long. |

Don't scare me! It's terrible. I find these days if I am cut off from the net I feel almost blind. It's not that I use it 24/7, just the knowledge that I can use it if I want to. |

| I think if there was no computers or internet I would just die. I have been on computer since I was five. Computers revolve around what I do on a daily basis. From keeping in touch with my family, to earning money and self entertainment. I would be tremendously bored, and of course then I would have to leave the house and get a real job. Not looking so good since I would have to pay for daycare for two children. |

| I've only been active on the internet for 4 years and I really can't tell you what I'll do without the internet because I spend a huge percentage of my time on the internet doing various things. I can't think of many things we can't do on the internet. In my opinion the internet is a world within itself and it has become very helpful to everyone who uses it. I gotta have it. I literally have a fit when my internet service goes down for any reason. |

| Oh! Believe or not it is possible. There was a time when the personal computer wasn't as popular; and people did other things. I mean, what you don't know about; you don't miss. But I remember a while ago having problems with my computer; I was miserable until I fixed it. At this time, I would not want to be without it. |

I remember when there was no internet. I am so old! However, now I can't imagine living without it. It has certainly simplified some things and made so much information available.
I remember when we first had a computer, back in the stone age, and we were waiting for the page to load. It took over 18 hours - lol! |

I love computers and the Internet, Yahoo chat is a very good way to kill some time as soon as you don't meet some mad chatters. Most of the time, I enjoy it. And computers do bring soem convenience in my home, I stick with it. So in my spare time, I do write some stories, poetry with my computer, and going online to surf and chat is the enjoyment.

| An interesting matter. Above all, there is not a fundamental basis to judge upon. Different times are characterized by different factors. What seems to be boring now, was just the reality of a given time. To know what you are deprived of, and not to rezlize it is at the heart of the problem. But one thing is for sure. Internet is something very important and a source for tremendous knowledge, once you look at it that way and realize its endless potential. |
