How does ForumBooster make the money that it is paying out to boosters? What is the business model here? Can anyone explain it to me, or point me to a forum where it is explained?

I was actually wondering about the funding as well. I cannot tell if we are splitting a service charge with ForumBooster or are paid by ForumBooster.

People pay to have their forums boosted. They have the prices on the main page of the site.
And then ForumBooster pays you to boost that forum.

For instance, say i just started a forum and i wanted it to get popular by having multiple users and threads and posts. I might go to ForumBooster and buy one of their forum boosting packages.

With the money i've paid ForumBooster, they can in turn pay you to post on those forums.

ForumBooster charges more than 10 cents per post for people purchasing a package to get their forum boosted, so they get some of the profits, and they pay users to go and boost.

tonyaisntarobot That was a great explanation. I really wish people in other forums could explain things so simple yet clearly for everyone to understand. Excellent work. Smile

That was really a great answer but I could not understand the meaning of forum boosting package. Is it the material that we write in forum booster or is it some chosen people from forum booster?

ForumBooster seems quite popular. I doubt if they'll share their business model for all and sundry to copy. Rolling Eyes

A forum boosting package is the amount of threads and replies the forum owner wants.

For example 500 new threads, and 500 new replies. It can vary from a large one like that, or a smaller one. (example) 5 new threads, and 15 new replies.

It can also include details such as a set amount of new members on the forum. (5, 10, 15, etc...)

I'm not a booster yet, but I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how much we are paid per post? Is there some range, depending on the situation? Any further elucidation on this would be very helpful. Thanks!

You get paid .10 cents per post untill you've reached 200 total posts. Then you start getting .12 cents until 500 posts in which you get .15 cents.

So say you enter in that you made 100 posts and 10 threads (just an example) Doing this on 1
forum will get you 16.50 and you will keep on getting that much for every forum you put it into.

At least that's what I heard about it from last time.

I had been looking around another forum and I noticed it had some packages for Bloggers. At first it sounded quite awkward, having packages for bloggers where the no.of post were mentioned along with an amount.I realized that it was charging money form bloggers to get their blogs populated on different threads by writers that were employed by the forum.
I noticed that blog owners instead of writing in their own blogs ,they pay for writers to write for them and thus advertise for the blog.As it is people who will be writing on the blog will be aware of its existence along with it,obvoiusly they will be sharing there experience with others thus creating an awareness of the existence of the blog.
And what does the blog owner get of it?Well that simple, page rank.Using the page rank the blog owner will post reviews based on the products of advertisers who will be paying him for advertising their product on his blog.Blogs with good page rank get as much and more as $10-15 per post.
