Well, I think McCain has a little more experience under his belt, but he seems to old to run the USA. Obama, on the other hand, is young, therefore he understands young people. He seems most fit out of anyone to run the USA, in my opinion.

Did you guys know, that in Florida, the person that gets the most write in votes is Mickey Mouse? It blew my mind that a cartoon character would actually get voted for. It seems like a waste of votes to me.

The fact that McCain chose Palin to run as Vice President, only proves he is not fit to run the US. Obama gets my vote.

I've always judged candidates not by what they say, because 90% of the time it's either not true or bending the truth, whatever party they belong to.

My major issue with Obama is not his politics. My major issue is there simply isn't anything to look back on. We really don't know what we're getting if we vote him in. I think history has proven that most of the time, politicians who have little history backing them do not deliver on what they promise.

I'm not saying I believe everything McCain says (he's a politician Smile) but at least he has a record to judge.

I think that it was a huge mistake to make Obama the candidate for the Democratic party. Give him four, eight, or twelve years, and he might make a fantastic candidate... but as it stands, he just doesn't have anything to stand on except for promises.

I agree. Fiat money has gotten us into this current mess. Sadly Ron Paul's message was too hard to get past the mainstream media fitlers.

Although I must admit that both candidates are not very suited for the job as US president, the voters will have to choose one of these guys. I can understand why many of you are charmed by Obama however he has no relevant experience what so ever. People should vote for the candidate who has shown leadership and who has had the relevant experience for this job.

No, that just means that you won't give new people chances. It's true that Obama lacks experience, but who knows how it will turn out if you vote every time for the same person, only because he got "experience" . My vote is on Obama because his view on the economics is much more better then of McCain, while Obama wants to invest money to restore it, McCain thinks that the economy will rise again if the taxes are reduced. That's wrong, the economy won't restore itself only because taxes are getting reduced. Of course no one can predict it, but it is just obvious.

So the solution is to throw more money at it to fix it? We've done that repeatedly with programs and other things for the last 30 years and it hasn't worked yet. You can't simply throw more money at a problem and expect it to work. Throwing money at problems hasn't worked in the past and money isn't the solution now.

This, to me, is the most fundamental difference between Barack Obama's world view and John McCain's. It transcends political ideologies, personal histories and campaign promises. Obama is an improviser. McCain follows a script.

The best part about this election is how much it has spurred people to vote. How exciting is it (and I admit, I would've thought myself insane when I was younger) that so many are talking about the election, so many are registered to vote. I hope that the lines don't get too long so that people are discouraged from voting in the bigger cities.
No matter what else you can say about either candidate, thank goodness they have created life in America again.
