My suggestion is to find a good jewelry shop and ask them to steam them. It always seems to make my diamonds pop when they go that extra step. I have a suspicion that they do something else extra when I send my goodies in to have them repaired. One time someone told me that they do a quick acid dip to deep clean them. There are plenty of ultrasonic home cleaning products that work okay. They just have a special treatment I think at the shops we consumers just can't do at home!
Good luck |

Try this first. Take some toothpaste...just regular old toothpaste...it doesn't have to be tarter removing, breath freshening, or whitening...just plain toothpaste. Rub just a little bit of toothpaste on your diamond and then buff off using a soft cloth. You can use a bit of water to wash off any remaining paste, just make sure that your diamond is good and dry when you are finished.
This is the best way that you can clean diamonds, or any kind of jewelry at home. Its cheap and it really, really works. |

Just to make sure, do you want to literally clean the diamonds, or polish them?
Either way, go to a jewelry store, and they'll help guide you through this process. Make sure to check with multiple stores in order to get a good deal. |
