I have 3 furbabies- all cats Smile They are 3, 2, and 1 years old- Yoda, Oreo and Fiona. I have had pets my entire life (horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, hamsters, a few birds and even a pet potbelly pig- she was soooo cute!). I think animals definitely add to a household and make it more warm and friendly.

I love cats because they know your moods- if I'm upset or hurt they can tell and they come sit on me so I can pet them. If I'm angry, they come pester me until I give in! One of my cats even "talks" (well, squeaks) to me if his food bowl is empty- I always know if they run out because he has a way of telling me. He meows a certain way, then runs toward the kitchen, stopping to make sure I am following every 2-3 feet! Smile

I have two cats that I love very much, one is called Killer and the other one is Mr. Scruffy. I also have a mixed race dog, he's called Bruno. He's a Labrador mixed with a German Shepard. I love my pets, I can't imagine not having them.

My wife and I have five cats and one very outnumbered dog. We recently adopted a little girl from India and the dog is ecstatic...she thinks we got our little girl just for her. Wink

I have 1 dog, 2 turtles, and a few fish. That is about the least amount of animals I've had over my life. As a kid I once had 3 dogs, 4 chameleons, 2 dwarf bearded dragons, 1 snake, and 120 gallon fish tank filled with exotic saltwater fish. That transformed my house into a zoo.

I personally love dogs and I have had them most of my life. My wife and I currently have a miniature schnauzer who is like our baby. We have had Cookie for 6 years and she is the sweetest dog in the world!

I am not a pet person. My brother, whom I live with, has a couple of dogs but I'm not a big fan. As long as they are out of my way, I'm cool with it. I can't stand dog's hair on furniture the most!

Pets are important in a number of ways. In addition to being a living presence, they also provide a comfort and solace in times of stress. You can tell your pet your troubles and they don’t talk back or tell others what you told them.Pets give children an opportunity to become more responsible as they are given the task of looking after a pet – be it a fish, a gerbil, a cat, a dog, a turtle, or an iguana. Each has to be cared for, cleaned and fed, talked to and nurtured. Just as babies die from lack of contact, so can animals.

I honestly don't understand what people have against having pets. I myself have a cat, dog, and a hamster. I make sure I keep the house odor free. Pet are family too. Maybe the problem is landlords think the animal will destroy their property; but that is not true of everyone.

All I want to say is that no matter what kind your dog is, if he raise together from pups with other dogs he will has weird temper.
