Personally, I find that the Mac is a superior machine than the PC. I used both and found that the quality of the OS and software of a PC does not compare to the ones for Mac. I'm really sick of PCs and Vista doesn't help my decision.
Yeah... you can call me a Mac snob |

Hey Mac snob
I'll give you two reasons why PCs are far superior. Reason one, the mouse for the Mac is not user friendly. Maybe I'm just sugar deficient or something, but I can never click on what I'm aiming for. Reason two, Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates. Enough said. |

Haha. I don't see how your problem with clicking makes the Mac not user friendly. That commercial is too awkward. Nothing beats the Apple commercials. |

Why did you add the third option?
Linux has nothing to do with PC and Mac comparison. You can have Linux running on any pc or mac.
Probably you mean Mac Osx and Windows as the first 2 options. |

I was wondering the same thing. I have one PC that has Vista (ugh!) and one with Linux on it. I also have a Mac. (Linux!) I like the Mac better myself. But if I'm just messing around online, I'll use my PC. |

Umm, good question.
My vote is on PC, since I use it.
Things that's used widely (example: PC/Windows) aren't always as bad as people think.
Question is, what do you use it for? PC and Windows is for gaming. |

The reason I strongly dislike macs is the hardware. I feel like its always falling behind the latest and greatest that a pc has to offer. Also windows is of course more game friendly and mac commercials make me wanna never even consider purchase due to the fact that all they do is diss PC. |

| PC all the way. I worked with Macs in the past and i don't like them. About the OS, personally, i like Linux. I've been using Ubuntu for a while and i am happy with it. The only reason i have windows in my desktop is to play some games from time to time. |

I do like the Mac OS a lot, but I'm gonna have to go with PC anyway. Because of the hardware and application compatibility. I play a lot of games and they aren't available to OS X so I need my PC. I also like to be able to configuration and build my own computer with parts I have selected myself.
If I had the money I would probably buy me a Macintosh Laptop, but they are quite expensive. For gaming stationary computer, PC it is. |

| I don't like macs and their OS. The reason is probably because i've been using PCs with Windows for years and old habits die hard. |

| I grew up using PC's, while my friend used macs. Seeing the best of both worlds, I prefer the PC. Macs are good for artistic applications and some forms of music, but If you aren't an owner of a webcomic, there's no real point for them. Pc's are like factories of awesome. |

Used my first PC before I can remember, had my own when I was 5, built my first PC when I was 9. (Homebuilt and configured using bought parts, not actually building a circuitboard)
Never owned a Mac. Never liked using them.
That's probably more of a "Chevy vs. Ford" mentality though. When I do try to look at it objectively, I just look at the fact that much of the software I use (particularly games) are PC only. Plus, I really like building my own PCs rather than buying a pretty box.
For example, my current PC cost about $1500 to make, and would have cost me around $2500 if I had bought it from a supplier. It's not pretty, but it is a complete beast. |

I love the MAC design, I love all of Apple's designs to be honest, but I voted PC.
I voted PC because it's a much more affordable platform and you have a wider choice of software for it.
You can also tailor build a PC without spending a lot of money, and you can even build it yourself.
I have never used Linux, but as far as I know it is also difficult to get software for it, mainly in the games category.
To finish, i agree with what some users said, I also think the pool is not well built because Linux runs on a PC also, so if you wanted to put Linux, the options should have been:
MAC OS
Windows
Linux |

Haha I am a PC fan myself, and those commericals were probably the best things I've seen for awhile lol. |

| I kept hearing how great macs are and how I would never want to go back to a pc once I tried it. Well, we bought a mac, but right now, I'm talking to you on a PC. I never could get used to it. No right click. Short cuts are all different. I had a hard time adjusting. I'm sure it's a great machine. I just prefer my pc with all of its faults. |

| I am a huge Mac fan, but nowadays I am using a small Eee PC with Linux. I like the simplicity of Linux, but it is too basic for me, so I am going to buy a new Mac for Christmas. |
