You know, I would have to say that sometimes money assists in your level of happiness. Who is happier - the poor single mother working three jobs just to get by, or the independently wealthy single mom who can spend time with her kids and relax?
If I were to choose Happiness... or money without true happiness, then the choice would absolutely be happiness. Money all on its own cannot buy the joy that comes from relationships with others. |

Money makes the world go round man. A poor happy mother would be even more happier if she had 10 dollars to buy food.
u can be filthy rich and be sad.
Money = happiness
Money =/= happiness
it depends on how u look at it |

| I think how you're making the money is what's important. Also, do you have enough money to sustain. There are rich people who commit suicide just like the poor. I believe happiness is a choice, and you determine what it will be based on. |

Let's see.... I have been on both sides of the fence (with money and without). Having money sometimes makes you lazy and stale, so I would like to have enough so that I can provide the basics for my family, yet not enough, so I can continue to have that fire in my belly to want more from life. Doing without helps you find creative ways to fill your time.
Cheers !!

| I think it all depends on the person. If you have money and are not lazy : ) you can very well find many ways to entertain yourself, help people, etc. But then again, this is not coming from a rich person : ) |

| Money is important, yet it does not buy happiness. I know a lot of so called wealthy people who invest to much of their time making their money and not enough time enjoying it. Yet, I know a few so called poor people who are spending too much of their time enjoying life and not enough of it trying to make the money they need to survive. Which would I pick money or happiness? Right now with times so tough, I would say money. Why? I could keep the money, store it away and then hopefully soon find happiness. Yet, the best life would be one that could include a balance of both. |

| To help solve the question of Money or Happiness, I am willing to put myself out there and be the subject of a social experiment. I am now a happy but broke person. Send me money, let me be rich and then I'll let you know if I'm still happy when I'm rolling in the dough. I'll be glad to make the sacrifice and help answer this question once and for all. |
