|
|
| I applied to be a writer a while ago. I received an initial message saying that my application is being reviewed, but never received a follow-up email. After about 10 days I tried to reapply, but I got a message that I already exist as a writer. I tried emailing support about it, but never received any reply. Then I tried to reset my password and that kind of worked - I got an email with a new password, but I still cannot log in. After reading the FAQ, I am guessing I might need to activate my account, but how do I do that? I cannot seem to be able to get in touch with anyone from ForumBooster. Does anyone have any other suggestions? |

I'm caught in the same limbo, with a slight complication in the form of a short series of emails with someone I thought was a member of Forumbooster's staff who later said she wasn't connected to them.
I never got anything but those private emails. No email acknowledgment of my application, certainly no sign-in except what was needed to write messages in the Forum.
It's as if I never applied -- but I did and when I tried to sign up again, in case my first application had been chewed up somehow, an error message popped up saying I was already signed up.
Is this Forumbooster's method for turning down an application?
Not everyone goes through the same steps. The friend who recommended I sign up here didn't, nor did her sister. The sister didn't even need to do five messages in the forum.
Something's off the rails about this situation. |

| Thanks, I feel better now that I am not the only one. From what I've seen in the forums, most people get approved pretty quickly, so I thought I must have done something wrong. |

I am not still approved. But what I think is, there is nothing we can do to activate our account and only the Admin can activate our account |

| Perhaps they are really filtering for certain demographics and don't want to say them out loud? |
