A couple of weeks ago, I applied to be considered for forumboosting. I received a Private email from someone I thought worked for Forumbooster, offering me work doing APA writing. I thought about it and decided I really wanted to do Forumboosting instead. They then said they had no connection to Forumbooster and ended the correspondence.

So -- am I to consider my application rejected if I didn't get an affirmative email to my application after this time? Have I done something wrong in rejecting work I wasn't qualified to do? Is there something besides sending in an application that I should have done to push for a reply from Forumbooster itself?

I was told it takes a few weeks to hear back on the test articles, but just the application for forum posting should have gone through by now, I think. Mine took a few days. Try reapplying and see what happens.

When I tried to reapply, it said I was already a registered member. But -- how does that happen if I never got any email from Forumbooster?

Don't feel bad, the same thing happened to me and I'm still waiting to know if I've been accepted, too. Trying not to get discouraged, but it's kind of hard not to. I hope you hear something soon.

Some of the threads indicate it's common for Forumbooster to fall behind. It would help if they automated a Reply anyway, even if it wasn't decisive. "We're working on it," is useful information.

That's a good idea, that they could have an automatic reply sent out whenever someone fills out the application. Thanks for the info, too.

My brother has been waiting for more than 3 weeks, now. Since they were working on the new site, I guess it's normal. Just wait a little bit more. Your refusal to do that work has nothing to do with your application success or failure.

If you guys have been waiting that long I would send in an email just as a follow up. I know that they are approximately 1 week behind on emails judging from the response time of one of my emails in to the Admin.

I already sent an email, my brother sent two. They're just very busy, probably.

Who would you pester, anyway? It's hard to know who might be the appropriate party to ask about an application in limbo.

That is rather strange... and not very encouraging for those of us who are awaiting replies. Still, there's not too much we can do but wait and send emails if it takes too long, I suppose.

It would save time if they just said, "We only want this certain demographic," rather than letting people sit around waiting for an answer.
