Well whole-heartedly one of my favorite Video Games of all time is an MMORPG, yes at this point you may have guessed it. World of Warcraft. This game offers many things from Social Interaction, Using your brain to kill a massive "boss", or smashing the opposing faction into the ground. The game has an endless variety of fun things to do.
One thing that I enjoy doing most is PvP, (Player Vs. Player), which can consist of, Capture the flag, Capture and Hold Bases, Both Capture the flag and the Bases, and Capturing Enemy territory and killing their leader. Also there is a more competitive aspect of PvP 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 arenas, you can do these either as Rated, (Where you compete against organized teams who become harder as your rating goes up, starting from 1500.) or Skirmishes which are Practice arenas. You are also award for doing the four games, (CtF, CtB, CtFaB, and CtT and Kill Boss, respectively known as, WSG, AB, EoTS, and AV.) For doing those "Battlegrounds" you are awarded with Honor Kill Points, and Battleground Marks of Honor which you can turn in for Epic Quality gear to better yourself in killing enemies. Arena, (2v2, 3v3, and 5v5) you get points at the end of the week based on your rating, which you can turn in for 5 piece set Epic Quality gear, which may require ratings to get some Pieces, also the points can be spent on, Weapons, Offhand Weapons, Wands, and Gems. All in all PvP is great.
PvE, what can i say about PvE, it's VERY VERY Fun, although if you want to be the best of the best at it you sort of have to devote part of your life to it unlike PvP. PvE consists of you working in groups to accomplish a Minor Task, also up to and beyond VERY VERY Hard Tasks. PvE, is also very gear dependent, which means you have to "Progress" in PvE, you can't just skip to the last boss. For PvE there are 5, 10, 25, and 40 man groups known as "Raids". Which is where a very good social and skillful bond come into play to kill said boss. PvE is very fun, but can be very time consuming, where I used to spend 5 hours a night 6 days a week doing it to compete with the top guilds.
All in all World of Warcraft (WoW), is a very great game, it offers MANY great things to do. You can almost never become bored, unless you are a boring person. If you have nothing to do, go help someone better themselves, or go do a 5 man Instance. If I had to rate WoW, i would give a 5/5.
