We all have unforgettable experiences.
Mine was when I finished my degree march 24, 2003. During our graduation, I was asked by the Dean to give the welcome talk. It was a tearful day, my late MOm was there and I was so thankful I was her daughter, and I was blessed because i grew up with fear In the Lord due to her discipline.
January 11, 2005 My dear Mom was taken away from me. She died of rectal Cancer. I have recovered from that loss because I thought I have made everything a daughter can do to a mom. I have made her feel she was loved and cherished. With my low income from teaching, I have paid her hopsital bills and financially helped her til herlast breath. She was one adorable woman! JUANITA SANICO-CUPAS I adore you so much!
OCt 1, 2005 I met Larry, the man who filled the emptiness I felt from my mother's loss.
Feb 8, 2006 My darling angel Jaron Julianne was born.
Would you mind sharing yours? _________________ "People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges." |

| I have one and one only, I will never forget the day my son was born. It was the first day that my world had ever stop. A moment in time is what most people call it. I don't think any other moment in my life has ever measured up. To see all of his little fingers and toes , to see something that was created by me and my significant other, was so amazing to me. And it is still amazing to me. Now that I look at him, I just smile because they grow so fast. But every day is a beautiful day with him. He makes my life what it is and without him nothing would ever be right again. |

I have a few, but I'll share one of my happiest ones.
I am not model-thin, I don't think I'm very pretty, I wouldn't have been surprised to end up as the cool spinster aunt to any of my friends' future children.
My group of friends sprang out meet ups for people interested in a manga anthology (were were all on its forum, so why not meet in real life?), after that, we just started hanging out.
I saw one of them on a more regular basis - I had come up with a manga idea he was interested in drawing. I thought he was cute. Very cute. I had a crush on him.
One day, he got very strange, and wouldn't speak, and when he finally did, he said: "I'm thinking about kissing you."
Now? He's asleep in the next room and we're getting married next year. |

I have two, both of them in the same exact spot, actually.
I don't know the exact date of either, but I'll never forget them.
I grew up in the suburbs, and when I go home to visit my parents I love driving all around the area, just because it's nice to look at what's become of all your childhood haunts.
One particular place is about a mile from my house, where there is a vineyard lining both sides of a fairly long road that runs along the top of a hill. I spend alot of time at home in the fall, and one night a few years ago I went out driving, just because it was beautiful out. The air wasn't cold yet, so I had all the windows down, and I started driving along through the vineyard. About halfway through, I took a deep breath, and was suddenly intoxicated with the full and heavy scent of ripe grapes.
I pulled off to the side of the road, and sat there breathing this heavenly smell in silence, eyes closed, just listening to the night sounds, and breathing. As I listened, I slowly realized that there were several cars ahead of me, doing the exact same thing that I was.
Eventually I had to drive home, but that night was stunning and will stick in my memory forever.
The second event that will never leave me happened on that same spot.
I had driven up, remembering the night I'd pulled over and just sat there breathing, and found that while it was autumn, there was no intoxicating smell of grapes. I pulled over anyway, as the sky was completely clear, and got out to lay on my car, just watching the stars. No sooner had I laid down, than a falling star appeared, shooting spectacularly across half the sky before vanishing. I have to say, all I could do was laugh in absolute joy--it was like I had taken two seconds out of my day and gotten an immediate HI!!! from God. |
