Hi Everybody,
I am a professional writer with qualifications and experience of Marketing and Advertising companies and websites. I am happy to share my knowledge with anyone who would like some information on Advertising and Marketing your own website. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer your questions. Here is some information below to get those who need it started:
Advertising and Marketing your website is a very easy thing to do online, and could be achieved without paying out a lot of money. Virtually a lot of this can be done free, if you know what your doing and have know where your resources are. There are a few factors, which directly affect which Advertising and Marketing resources are best for you and your site. Therefore, you must ask yourself a few questions before getting starting:
1. Is your website promoting your skills and services as a qualified and experienced individual?
2. Is your site selling a product or many different products, if it is more than one product then what is the general theme?
3. Is your site a forum or community, whether it is either type, what is the theme? In other words what type of people do you wish to attract to your forum or community.
4. Does your site look professional?
5. Is your site ready for the Advertising and Marketing Stage?
The fifth question may seem a little strange but you would not believe how many people try to market and advertise their sites, before construction is completed and they are ready to receive visitors. Advertising your website before completion is utterly pointless, and is more likely to turn people off your site before you even get started. This is the last thing you want.
Once you have answered the questions the next step is to write up a Marketing plan, which can be done very easily with a few simple tips. Once you have completed your Marketing plan, then you are ready to start using those Advertising resources and bring traffic/customers to your site.
