I have to confess . . . I'm a bit of forum-obsessed! How many hours a week does everybody spend in forums? |

| It depends on the type of forum: Technology, I'd say quite a lot, but something else, like politics, or just even regular chit-chat, maybe a few minutes each day. |

| I only spend time on forums that I'm paid to post to. I spend time to blogs, generally, in my reader. |

I don't keep track but it varies. I wasn't spending too much time posting to forums last week because we were on vacation(at home). Usually I spend quite a bit of time posting...kind of like Simplyme stated. |

It's a great way to pass the time. And always ineteresting to see what people have to say about things.
I've even been known to just make up random topics. Things that are trivial. Just to see what people think about it.
And I think I spend more time posting on forums than I do sleeping! |

I can get really intensely into a forum for a while, but sometimes I lose interest and leave a forum alltogether.
Does anyone else kind of burn out on specific forums after a while? |

| Honestly speaking, I've spent hours on forums per day before even ever hearing about paid for posting. Most of the forums I was involved with were gaming communities I was a member of, or a friend's website where he was trying to create hype for his business. I'm not even counting Facebook, even though it warrants a mention. |

| I can agree with the whole burn out thing, sometimes I get writers block or completely lose interest in a topic and have to step away from it for a while, then my interest will grow again. How do you all deal with writers block or burnout? |

I only frequent a couple of forums, but I have very high post counts on them... I'm a very active member of the communities there. I'd say that I probably spend maybe four to five hours per day actually participating in forums.
However, I browse forums all of the time without posting on them, on various topics. |

I spend a lot of time at a poetry forum. I probably spend at least an hour a day there. Hopefully, I can start getting paid to post on forums now! |

| I spend most of my free time on forums. I'd much rather be interacting with people than sitting in front of the television. |

I`m also addicted to forums. I can`t count the hours cause I don`t pay attention to that.
The thing I pay attention to is the question or the problem and I just can't give up,
I have to find an answer because I just love to learn and help. Hopefully, I will get accepted.

Well, I am very new here in fact I haven't yet sumbitted my application. I imagine though if they do accept me I will be spending quite a bit of time in the forums because I have been dedicating most of my time to PTC or paid to click sites, and my tendons have had about all they can take of that.
I have been browsing through the posts and found an abundance of useful information here so I have no doubt that I will soon be one more forum addict to add to the list of many. |

Absolutely!
I'm not sure if it's the subject matter or the people, but something will eventually rub me the wrong way and I'll wonder why I spend so much time staring at a computer screen, chatting with people I don't really know about things I may or may not really care about. Morbid curiousity might pull me back a few times, but if I haven't made any sort of a lasting connection with a few people then once I'm out, I'm out for good.
...and in answer to the original question, I spend at least 10 hours a week - but usually double that - in various forums, if I had to guess. (And that was before I realized I could get paid for them) |

I am really not posting for forumbooster yet... But I visit other forums like these:
-Linkbucks forum: 1-2 hours a day (I am almost a moderator)
-Make money online kingdom: 1 hour a day (Paid-to-post forum)
-Adult forums: I usually visit 12 of them a day and post my galleries from linkbucks there.
But still I have some time to post on the forums that forumbooster will offer to me |
