I agree somewhat on that matter. Finding a single work at home job to support an entire household is hard to do, but it can be done. Most of the content writing that I do is for one company and the pay I receive from them is enough to cover all of my bills and expenses.

I do work for another company though and that too is for content writing but only make about $200 a month with them. I could make more but I put more focus on the other company because they pay better. But they are there as a back up if my main source of income ever falls apart.

Even for those of us writers who have a company that pays enough for everything we need monthly, it is still important for us to be involved with several other companies. This is because you never know when the "you know what" will hit the fan and that main company shuts done. Then you are without work.

Never put all of your eggs in one basket so make as many connections as you can.

I want to do more home-based jobs such as this, but sadly there aren't much available offers in our area. I'm after the paid survey sites but they mostly just look for panel members from the US or UK...

Um... I'm not in the US or the UK and I work full time from home. What's stopping you?

I'm in Australia and I've been working full time from home for 6 years. The majority of my work is sold in either the US or the UK.

Of course, I don't use paid survey sites - there are much easier ways out there to make more money than they offer

I have had lots of trouble finding work-at-home opportunities, especially legitimate ones. I have tried lots of things "data entry", "paid surveys" and mostly I feel like I just get frustrated with the clogged inbox and I never end up making any kind of substantial money. I am starting to wonder if ANYONE has really been successful with work-at-home opportunities (besides people who just telecommute with their regular job).

I was exactly at your condition a few months back. It is like a journey. One thing I will like to tell that people make money at work at home oppurtunities. I am one of them. Keep on trying you will definetily find some good work at home oppurtunities.

For that matter, forumbooster is one of the best that I found out. I came to know about this site from one of my friend. He is making good money from forumbooster by posting and content writing.

So, my piece of advice; keep on trying. All the best.
