Anyone here ever earned money for taking surveys?
Many moons ago I paid for a list of survey companies (am a bit wiser now), signed up but after going through many processes was either not qualified for one reason or another or they just paid with points or something.
I think all in all I made a grand total of $5.
I live in ND and was wondering if location had something to do with my failure.........

| I tried it before and I think it is a total waste of time. You never seem to earn anything significant and it takes ages to reach their payout threshold. |

I don't think so. I suppose, many are making some $200 as new surveyers. But after getting some experience, you'll earn more.
And also know that, being with one single survey company would never make it big. If you sign up with more survey websites, say if you sign up with 70 paid survey websites, you would get some 10 surveys a day at least so that you can earn $10 a day atleast. |

I am a member of two paid survey companies and the money isn't that much but I do get paid. For one I make an extra $5 every couple weeks and for the other I make an extra $10 once a month. One good thing is that these surveys are pretty short and don't take much time to do. I would love to know which companies I could sign up with to earn an extra $200 a month! However, I just don't see myself having the time to put in to keep up with 70 different survey companies. |

I used to do paid surveys through PineCone Research and it was a $5 check for every online survey completed. They are still in business from what I know but you can only sign up for them when you see the banner advertisement for them pop up somewhere.
This is not a site though that you will make alot of money on but I was getting two to three $5 checks a month. For about an hours worth of work total, it was not a bad deal. It was nice to have that extra change coming in the mail.
If you ever come across their banner then you should jump on it fast. |

| I did the same thing once (paid for a list of survey sites) and I signed up for TONS of them. I think total I made about 20 dollars, but I started getting overwhelmed with the number of e-mails and survey opportunities I received. Furthermore, most of the time, I would start the survey and then one of the questions would be asked and it would deem me not qualified to take the survey. That was rather frustrating, in my opinion. |
